Jennifer Lawrence shot to fame quickly. One minute she was who’s-that-girl in a red dress at the Oscars for Winter’s Bone and the next she was the face of The Hunger Games franchise. When Lawrence isn’t busy shooting arrows and taking names as THG’s Katniss Everdeen, she’s been making other movies…and winning Oscars for them.

Her turn in Silver Linings Playbook earned her an Academy Award for Best Actress, and Lawrence is reteaming with Playbook director David O. Russell for American Hustle.

According to Russell, however, the little golden man hasn’t changed Lawrence.

“I mean ... no, it didn't really change it because with the dynamic that was created — it's very dynamic and sweet and fun, and she had an enormous amount of fun playing this role and all the insanity," Russell told MTV. "You ask a lot and she brings it. That was our talk on Silver Linings Playbook. Have a loose, trusting environment, and then she can bring it. That's what's fun to do."

According to The Huffington Post, American Hustle also stars Bradley Cooper, Christian Bale and Amy Adams as members of the infamous ABSCAM scandal from the ‘70s and ‘80s. Lawrence plays Bale’s wife, an “unhinged Long Island housewife,” according to Russell.
