Simon Cowell’s baby mama drama has been monopolizing entertainment news lately, with friends and family of Cowell, Lauren Silverman, and Silverman’s husband, Andrew, speaking out on the shocking news of their affair. Now, Cowell’s fellow The X Factor judge Demi Lovato is sharing her thoughts on the Brit as a father.

"I don't have any advice to give to someone who has lived like a hundred more years than I have," the singer told E! News . "I mean, I might be off by a few, so maybe 110. But I have a lot of fun with him and he's a great guy. He'll be good."

The 21-year-old has sparred with Cowell on air since her debut on the reality competition show. Both stars maintain that they have an amicable relationship once the cameras stop rolling, and Lovato shares that a lot of what we see of Cowell on camera is not an accurate representation of his personality.

"People are surprised, and I was definitely surprised,” Lovato said of seeing the difference between Cowell on television and off. “Especially after working with him for so long, too. He's just continued to surprise me...in being just a really great person and he's really sensitive and he's a good guy and people only see the really mean Simon on TV. The thing is he's just saying what all of us are thinking anyways."

Since news broke of the 54-year-old’s affair with Lauren Silverman, he has been shamed in the media, and this time for reasons other than his harsh words for The X Factor contestants. Now that Cowell is roped in to the Silverman’s “nasty, scorched-earth, high-profile litigation,” changes are he will need to rely on his new “nice guy,” persona in the upcoming The X Factor season to keep the public on his side.
