New Girl has a new guest star in Dreama Walker, who played good girl June on the recently canceled Don’t Trust the B---- in Apartment 23.
Walker will be playing a “Mean Girls-esque” teacher at the school where Jess will be a substitute, TV Guide reports.
TV Line was able to gather some details on her role. Walker’s character, Molly, will become a nemesis for Zooey Deschanel's Jess, after meeting and immediately disliking her.
Angela Kinsey, who was last seen on The Office, will play another teacher at Jess’ school, in the same episode. TV Guide reports that Kinsey’s character, Rose, will also clash with Jess. Rose, as well as Molly, will be part of a clique of cool teachers who will be put off by Jess’ positive attitude towards her work.
“She’s struggling with the politics. At the school, there’s some mean girl teachers that don’t like her there, and she’s trying to find her place at the new school and see if she can turn it into a permanent position,” executive producer Liz Meriwether says.
Look for the new characters in the second episode of season 3, which premieres on September 17 at 9 p.m. on FOX.
