The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very much modern in their royal duties, having kissed twice on their wedding day on the balcony and driving away from the hospital on their own after welcoming their son, George, on July 22.

They released new photos of their new family of three on Monday, and the shoot was very true to themselves and down to earth in the Middleton family home’s garden.
Instead of enlisting a big-name photographer, the Duchess’ own dad, Michael Middleton, took the pictures. Keeping on with the tradition with her affordable fashion choices, the new mom wore a $79 Seraphine maternity dress, Us Weekly reports.
Prince George also didn’t wear anything extravagant; he wore the same shawl he had on when he left St. Mary’s Hospital – from G H Hurt and Son Limited.
In his first interview since becoming a father, Prince William talked about his fatherhood joy and leaving the hospital with their son.
He talked about being independent and breaking with royal tradition, saying "If I can do it myself, I'll do it myself.”
