Willie Robertson of Duck Dynasty fame is laughing off reports that he could be running for a congressional seat in his state of Louisiana after Republican Rep. Rodney Alexander leaves the seat open next month.
While on Fox’s The Five, Robertson was asked about the rumors and he replied, "I heard today that I was doing that,” adding it’s
“news to me.”
The reality star and CEO of his family’s business Duck Commander insisted he’s "kind of busy right now" and “I got a lot going on,” NY Daily News reports.
Meanwhile, the Robertson family, whose show premieres tonight on A&E, got a big raise going into the fourth season. The now $200,000-per-episode earnings will be split between the nine adults and 11 children on the show.
The last season of the show drew 8.6 million viewers and the Season 3 finale is the most watched A&E telecast ever, drawing 9.6 million viewers.
