The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have released their own photos of the new royal family of three. Kensington Palace said in a statement that the couple wanted to release the first photos, besides the new family coming out of the hospital after he was born, on their own.
In a statement, the palace said the pictures were taken by none other than Middleton’s father, Michael. Not only do they feature baby George, but also their dog, Lupo.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have chosen to release two family photographs with their son, Prince George," reads the statement, ABC News reports. "The photographs were taken by Mr. Michael Middleton in early August in the garden of the Middleton family home in Bucklebury, Berkshire.”
The new parents have been at the Middleton family home since they welcomed baby George on July 22. Middleton’s first royal appearance since giving birth will be on Sept. 12 at a charity dinner with her husband.
Meanwhile, William has already been back to work, making his first official appearance last week.
