Prince William made his first official royal appearance since becoming a father to Prince George on July 22 at the Anglesey Show on Wednesday, where he revealed some new information about he and wife, Kate Middleton’s son.

He told the crowd at the event, where he mingled with animals, that his wife would’ve liked to be there but she’s of course busy with their newborn.

“My Welsh pronunciation is bad, but it is slowly getting better, I hope,” he told the crowd, Us Weekly reports.

"Catherine is sorry that she cannot be here today at the County Show. But she and George would have loved to have been here. He's pretty loud but of course very good looking!"

He continued of the first few weeks with their baby, "I have to say that I thought Search and Rescue duties over Snowdonia were physically and mentally demanding, but looking after a three week-old baby is up there!" BBC News reports.

He thanked the community of Anglesey for welcoming he and the Duchess of Cambridge so warmly, where he was stationed for the Air Force.

"From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making my wife and me so welcome when we arrived here, as you do thousands of visitors each year,” he said. “This island has been our first home together, and it will always be an immensely special place for us both. Catherine and I look forward to returning again and again over the coming years with our family."
