Dustin Hoffman is still kicking! According to his publicist, Jodi Gottlieb, he has successfully treated his cancer.
She says, “"It was detected early and he has been surgically cured," she says. "Dustin is feeling great and is in good health,” according to People.
The type of cancer that Hoffman had is unknown but the 75 year old Oscar winner will still have to go through treatments throughout the year to prevent from another occurrence.
According to ABC News Hoffman talked about taking time for granted on Good Morning America . He said,“I would develop stuff like every other actor,” Hoffman told “Good Morning America.” “The most important part of it is when you’re in your 30s and 40s and 50s, you think you’ve got all the time in the world. Suddenly, you’re 75 — you say, or get off the pot.”
Even though he was diagnosed with cancer, Hoffman is still hard at work. He just wrapped up production for the film Chef and is getting ready to begin filming the movie Boy’s Choir in early 2014.
