Legendary actor Dustin Hoffman has been successfully treated for an undisclosed cancer, his rep confirmed this afternoon.

“It was detected early and he has been surgically cured,” rep Jodi Gottlieb told People magazine. “Dustin is feeling great and is in good health.”

The 75-year-old will continue to have preventative treatments over the next few years to keep the cancer from coming back. That was the extent of the information Gottlieb would release and offered no other details.

Hoffman is a two-time Oscar-winner, winning for Kramer Vs. Kramer and Rain Man. As his IMDb profile shows, he hasn’t stopped working, recently filming Jon Favreau’s Chef. Just last year, he made his directorial debut with Quartet, which starred Maggie Smith, Tom Courtenay and other veteran British stars.

According to The Huffington Post, he’s set to work on the film Esio Trot with Judi Dench, based on a Roald Dahl story this fall. Another feature he will be working on is Boys Choir next year.
