Fergie and husband Josh Duhamel arrived at a Los Angeles hospital on Thursday to undergo a planned C-section to give birth to their baby boy.
TMZ has learned that the couple arrived at the hospital to prepare for the surgery scheduled for later Thursday. The Transformers actor is reportedly cool and collected about the situation and has been seen talking with hospital staff.
The actor was definitely calm enough to tweet from the hospital for Pepsi, reports the Daily Mail.
After the surgery, the Black Eyed Peas singer will be recuperating in one of the V.I.P suites previously used by other celebrities, such as Kim Kardashian and Dwight Howard.
The 38-year-old singer has been enjoying pregnancy, especially after having three baby showers. One was held at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills, another was spent with family, and the other in West Hollywood.
The first baby shower, nicknamed “gayby shower” by Andy Lecompte, had celebrity guests such as Adam Lambert, Kelly Osbourne, and others.
The couple has been open about the impending birth and life as parents, as Duhamel recently discussed fatherhood on the red carpet of the new film Scenic Route. He mentioned that “it’s been really fun to watch” his wife during pregnancy.
He also went on LIVE with Kelly and Michael to announce that the baby was to be a boy.
