Holly was Luke’s accomplice at the Swiss bank. She told him that she had risked a lot to help him and called in a lot of favors, so she wanted answers. He replied that he owed her an explanation and told her how Helena had poisoned him and his impending death. She regretted not seeing Helena die. Luke then told Holly goodbye since he may never get the chance to do so again. They hugged and he filled her in on Jerry Jacks and the missing money. Then, the alarm went off as they found Jerry’s account on the computer and saw that a transfer of funds was made after the explosion that supposedly killed Jerry and was picked up by Sean Donely.

Alexis woke up from her hypnotism session with Kevin at the hospital clearly remembering the name Julian. She wondered how they would find Sam’s dad now with just a first name. Kevin thought the details of her dream combined with the uniqueness of the name was a lot to go on.

At The Floating Rib, Lucy was unsure how her one percent in ELQ could help Tracy until she explained that Kiki’s five percent was worthless. Lucy didn’t want to give up her one percent because it was the only thing she had left of Alan’s but told Lucy that she will get to keep her one percent, then gave her a large check for the Deception reboot, as long as she promised to throw in her vote with her. Scott thought Lucy’s vote would be worth even more to AJ so Tracy added a zero to the check and they sealed the deal. Later, Lucy thanked Scott for his help making the deal and presented him with a piece of cake and a candle. He made a wish and blew out the candle but said that Laura was still out chasing Luke. Lucy ate his cake and told him all he could do was be patient and wait. He replied that he missed Laura and she admitted that she missed Kevin too, but that she wouldn’t change a minute of the evening because of how he handled Tracy. .Lucy then told Scott that he was a good friend and negotiator extraordinaire. They held hands and wondered what the universe was telling them since they were spending more time together than they were with their current loves. They pulled their hands apart. Later, Kevin caught Scott feeding Lucy cake.

Julian suggested that he and Ava not be seen together just as Sam arrived. He told her that he was Connie’s boss as Sam recognized Ava as Silas’ friend. Ava left after they made up a cover story about Ava selling Julian's alias Derek art. Once alone, Sam told Derek that she was trying to get publicity for a bone marrow drive for her son and hoped the paper would do a front page story. He asked her about blood relatives helping. She told them that all her relatives had been tested with no match and then admitted that she didn’t know her father. She then begged him to run the story but he refused. Then, she asked if he had children because if he did he would know the pain she was in. Touched, Derek agreed to put a story about the bone marrow drive on the front page of tomorrow’s edition.

At the hospital Silas called to get the lab results to the paternity test ASAP. Meanwhile, Kiki went to see Franco and he recognized her as his daughter. Silas listened as she told Franco that she wanted to figure out what they had together as father and daughter. Then, Silas asked to speak to Kiki. Outside, he told her about Franco’s suspicious cells which meant that he wasn’t option for Danny as a bone marrow donor. He was about to continue when Ava arrived. They filled her in on Franco’s condition. Ava then pushed Kiki into Franco’s room and threatened Silas to stay away from Kiki because she wasn’t his daughter! He replied that he wanted to wait to see what the DNA test said. She was livid that he had run a DNA test on Kiki but he said that he could do whatever he wanted since he was a doctor. Inside, Kiki told Franco that she wanted to get to know her dad. She held hands with Franco and told him that she was his daughter and that would never change.

Monica caught Connie ransacking a bedroom at the Quartermaine mansion. Thankfully, Tracy appeared and convinced Monica not to call the cops by taking responsibility for the mess. She said that after Kiki sided with AJ she had a fit. Monica replied that she was in too good a mood over AJ’s victory to care and asked them to just stay away from her room. Once alone, Connie and Tracy hugged over Lucy’s support and Connie showed Tracy a lockbox she found. Tracy picked it open and they found Kiki’s birth certificate, which listed Silas as the father. Tracy started to celebrate but Connie was conflicted about what to do. Later, Ava returned to find Tracy fluffing her pillows. Tracy then told Ava to have a good night’s sleep since tomorrow was going to be a long day.

Sam returned to the hospital with the good news about the paper. Alexis told Sam that she had learned that her dad’s first name was Julian.

Connie returned to the paper with the birth certificate and told Derek she is running with the story.

At The Metro Court, AJ, Elizabeth and Michael toasted Alice to thank her for her vote. Alice replied that it was her pleasure and she always did what was best for the family. Then, she had to rush off, but first told AJ how proud Edward would have been. Next, Michael left Elizabeth and AJ alone. AJ then told Elizabeth that she made him want to be a better man, that he really believed his grandfather would be proud and that he owed it all to her. He then added that he wants their relationship to grow and asked if she was ready to spend the night together. She admitted she was a tad “gun shy” but wanted to take that leap with him. They kissed and AJ took her to the mansion.

Michael ran into Olivia in The Metro Court bar on his way out, and he could tell something was wrong. He correctly guessed it had to do with Sonny and told her that Dante told him. She told him she had to step aside to make Sonny happy. Michael replied that he knew how she felt because he stepped aside to let the two people he cared about be happy too. Then, she poured both of them a drink and they toasted themselves – a couple of martyrs.

Morgan surprised Kiki with a romantic meal set up outside the boathouse. Inside, there was a new gown for her to wear. He told her that he loved her and instead of replying she rushed off to try on her dress. Then, Alice arrived, apologizing to Morgan for being late. He told to her that the evening had been good, not great. Later, Alice served them dessert, but Kiki said that she was too full to eat one bite. Morgan encouraged her to look then decide what to do. He lifts the lid and there was an engagement ring underneath. She told that she loved it but insisted he return it because he couldn’t afford it. She wanted to know how he got the money and he lied and said he got it from his dad. He then added that he didn’t want to force her into it if she wasn’t ready, that he’d fallen for her, but if she wasn’t there yet he understood. She replied that she loved him and they made love.

Alexis ordered scotch on the rocks from Mac at The Floating Rib. She told him that she blamed herself for Danny being so sick and there could be a whole slew of matches if she knew anything about Sam’s father. She then told Mac about her hypnosis session with Kevin and the name Julian. Meanwhile, Julian walked in. He left a message for Ava to call him about the story. Then, he approached Alexis and told her that he thought he knew her from somewhere. She introduced herself and he told her his name was Derek. He thought she must have been Sam’s sister. She corrected him, he was shocked and replied, "Did you have her when you were like 12?" She told him she was 16. He apologized but she gave him a free pass because of the story. Then, he broke the news to her that it had been bumped for a story on ELQ. She got mad at him for giving Sam false hope. He apologized saying that the story would still run just not on the front page and added that he was pulling for Danny.

At the hospital, Silas instructed a lab tech to bring him the DNA results as soon as possible. He then joined Sam and Danny and told her there were no matches yet. She told him about Alexis’ hypnosis session but that time wasn’t on their side. Sam was hoping for results from the article in the paper. Then, the lab tech returned to tell Silas his lab results were ready. He replied that it could wait and stayed to comfort Sam instead.

Outside Sonny’s, Connie worried how she was going tell Sonny about printing the story. Inside, Sonny surprised her with a special meal for keeping his secret. She asked if he had thought about how much this was costing Michael. Sonny replied that he isn’t happy with Michael going after his brother’s girlfriend. He then told her that it meant everything to him that she did right by him. Then, she told him that her boss was shutting down the paper and magazine after tomorrow, putting a lot of people out of work. He reminded her she had picked herself up in the past and she could do it again. He then added that she took care of him and now he would take care of her and help her start a new magazine. When he left to get dessert, Connie called the paper to pull the ELQ story. Derek told her there was no stopping the story now then congratulates her on saving her magazine. Sonny returned and Connie told him that she loved him no matter what. Then, they went upstairs and made love.

Michael went home alone and thought about Kiki.

The next morning the paper hit everyone’s front porch with the headline "Kiki Not A Q!"

At the hospital, Silas was just about to open the DNA results, but before he could Monica stopped him. She believed he’d conducted the test without the patient’s knowledge. Then, Ava entered and thought Monica should reconsider having him on staff. Monica said that she wouldn’t fire anyone without disciplinary review. Ava was livid and demanded the lab results. Monica begrudgingly complied and trusted the matter was now settled. Once they were alone, Silas did a slow clap for Ava and wondered why she was so determined to keep the truth from him. She told him that even if Kiki was his, why would he care since he never called her once? Then, he wonders why she wanted Kiki to believe her father was a serial killer over him. He then said he was going to Kiki and Ava pulled a knife on him.

At The Metro Court Carly was concerned about Olivia, but Olivia suggested that she worry about Michael instead. Then, Olivia told her about their conversation, that she didn’t know all the details but wanted Carly to go easy on Michael since it hurt to love someone you couldn’t be with. Carly wondered if she was talking about Sonny and Carly mentioned that when Olivia was in the hospital Carly noticed the intensity between them. Carly then told Olivia that she was sure that Connie was going to break Sonny's heart. “If a Falconeri girl is going to make him happy, it’s you, not Connie,” Carly told Olivia.

Connie got the paper outside Sonny’s and was unsure how she is going to tell him. When she showed him the paper he exploded and wanted to know why she would print it when she said she wouldn’t. She said that she couldn’t stand by and let Michael be hurt and he accused her of hiding behind his son. Connie put some of the blame on Sonny for insisting on keeping the lie to begin with. She then said that she knew he wanted to show Morgan that he loved him but helping him manipulate a girl to do so was wrong. She thought maybe this was the best decision for his family. He replied by asking what she knew about raising family and he left.

Kiki woke up in the boathouse to Morgan watching her sleep. He told her he loved her and she told him she loved him too before he left to get breakfast. Once alone, she called Michael.

Michael grabbed the paper outside his apartment door without looking at the headline. He got his coffee and cereal and answered the call from Kiki. She said that she needed to talk to him about Morgan, that he gave her a ring and she told Morgan that she loved him. Michael asked her if she meant it. She had to think about her answer.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Tracy was ecstatic when she saw the paper. She ordered thank-you flowers for Connie and when Diane arrived welcomes her to the “happiest place on earth” as she handed her the paper. Upstairs, AJ and Elizabeth cuddled. He told her that he wasn’t sure if he had ever been this happy. Elizabeth replied that she had no regrets and wasn’t intimidated by Tracy since her bark was worse than her bite. They went downstairs and were shocked at how cheerful Tracy was. Then, she handed AJ the paper and told him to choke on it. Morgan overheard Tracy tell AJ that Kiki wasn’t a Quartermaine and that Silas not Franco was her father. Elizabeth reminded them that even so, the vote was still tied. Then, Tracy informed them that she had secured Lucy’s one percent, putting her back on top. AJ looked sick. Tracy felt she had earned the right to gloat and toasted to the freedom of the press. Diane thought that Connie ran with the story to make Sonny happy considering his hate for AJ. AJ replied that knew when he was done, but he wouldn’t be the only one. Elizabeth tried to stop him but he stormed off. Elizabeth then told Tracy that she believed in AJ and Tracy replied that AJ wanted ELQ but didn’t know what he was doing and was unworthy of anyone’s love. Elizabeth replied by slapping Tracy.

Morgan ran back to the boathouse and Kiki quickly covered saying she had been talking to Ava. Morgan told her that he wanted to get married right away and rushed Kiki into the bathroom to get ready.

Michael saw the paper’s headline and realized the truth. He then grabbed the paper and left his apartment.

Back at the boathouse Morgan answered Kiki’s phone when Michael called back. Michael pretended he was calling to check up on Kiki’s dad but Morgan didn’t believe him. He hung up when Kiki emerged and pretended he had been talking to Sonny. They then left for the courthouse. Later, Michael arrived but Kiki and Morgan were gone.

Sonny showed up at The Metro Court where Olivia was.

Back at Sonny’s, Connie left a voicemail for Sonny when AJ busted in incensed and demanding an explanation.

At the hospital, Ava forbid Silas from telling Kiki that he was her father and threatens him with a knife. He took her hand and said she was holding the knife all wrong. She said she could have wheeled him to the morgue and had him cremated. He still said he was determined to get the truth. She stormed off as Sam arrived and wonders what was up. He slurped his coffee and changed the topic to Danny. They wondered why the story about Danny didn't go in the paper. She picked it up and saw that Kiki was on the cover. When he looked at the article, he spotted his name on a reproduction of the birth certificate. "You have a daughter," Sam pointed out and she urged him to go and find her.

Morgan and Kiki were at the courthouse waiting for their marriage license. He kept pacing and she didn’t understand the rush.

At the boathouse, Michael tried calling Kiki without any luck. He found her phone on the floor so he tried calling Morgan, but didn’t pick up. Then, Ava ran in. Michael showed her the paper. She freaked out and guessed Tracy must have been behind this. Ava told Michael that what the article said is true. Michael then went off on her. She didn’t appreciate it. She then asked him to help her find Kiki. He said had no clue where she was.

Back at the courthouse, Mac and Felecia ran into Morgan and Kiki. Morgan got them to lend her a phone. When she wandered off, Morgan explained he was trying to keep the paper from her so Kiki's day wouldn’t be ruined. Kiki returned and they were called in to get their license. Once they had it, Morgan said they could go straight to the altar. "Let's get married now," he suggested. She thought that was a bad idea.

At the Quartermaine mansion, after Elizabeth slapped Tracy when she said that AJ was unworthy of love, she went on about how much he had accomplished and how resentful Tracy was. Tracy thought this was crap, but then Elizabeth accused her of destroying her Edward’s legacy just so AJ couldn't get his hands on it. Tracy replied that Elizabeth was a sucker and listed AJ's crimes. "This is AJ's doing. It is not my fault," Tracy insisted. Elizabeth then started comparing her list of crimes to AJ’s. Tracy cringed and said they had as much in common as a fish and bicycle. Elizabeth then asked Tracy to give AJ another chance before it was too late.

AJ stormed into Sonny's place and confronted Connie for printing the story about Kiki not being a Q. He fired back that he was going to sue her. She insisted that the public had a right to know. He said that he was sure Sonny put her up to this. Connie told him he was wrong and that she was just doing the right thing. After shouting some more, he calmed down and complained about how Jason was always the loved one. He said that he just wanted to make things up to people and prove that Carly was wrong when she took Michael away from him. Connie assured him that he would be okay and could build another company.

Sonny strolled into The Metro Court. He found Olivia at the bar. She guessed something was up. He told her that Connie had gone too far and showed her the paper. Olivia didn’t see the big deal. Then, they argued about Connie’s motives. He then said that he was starting to think he made a mistake choosing Connie over her. Olivia urged him to go back and talk to Connie. He finally listened to the message Connie left. When he heard AJ yelling at her in the background, he sped off.

When Sonny got home, he found AJ with his hand on Connie's throat. Sonny then pulled out his gun and threatened to shoot AJ where he stood.

Holly and Luke arrived at Sean Donely’s house in Ireland but his daughter Anna told them he wasn’t there. She let them in and Holly and Luke decided to split up. Luke asked to use the bathroom and Anna told Holly that she was on to them. Luke was dragged back by the goons and Sean came out in a wheelchair. Anna insisted Sean had no answers but Luke and Holly demanded to know where Jerry Jacks and the $8 million were. Luke thought Jerry got sick and made a deal with Sean. Anna insisted he needed the money and Sean pulled out a vial.

Morgan pressured Kiki to get married at the courthouse. She said that she didn’t want to rush because of Michael. Then, Morgan blew up at her for letting Michael keep them from getting married. Kiki said she only meant because he was Morgan’s best man and didn’t Morgan want him at the wedding? Morgan apologized for blowing up at her and said that he just wanted it to be the two of them and didn’t want to wait. Kiki thought about kissing Michael, then agreed to marry Morgan.

Ava burst into Julian’s office and demanded to know why he ran the story. He told her their plan was to take over ELQ to use as a front for their operation and obviously won’t work and the story ensured that Tracy and Ava came out ahead. He wanted to know why she didn’t use it. Ava said that she didn’t owe him an explanation and stormed off. Once alone, Julian read the story about Danny.

Michael arrived at the Quartermaine mansion, followed by Silas. They were both looking for Kiki, and Michael realized Ava had been lying to Silas too. Meanwhile, Elizabeth encourages Tracy to make peace with AJ and treat him like family before he self-destructed. Tracy blamed AJ’s self-destruction on himself and tells Elizabeth it was now her problem. Elizabeth ran into Michael on her way out and told him how worried she was about AJ considering the state he was in when he stormed out of the estate, especially toward Connie. They left and Silas found Tracy. She poured him a drink to thank him for knocking up Ava all those years ago. He told her that he wanted to find Kiki and she directed him to the boathouse. He left and Ava ran in. Tracy was upset at Ava for keeping her secret to herself and told her she was out at ELQ. Ava threatened to throw Franco’s vote to AJ if she couldn’t keep her job. Tracy couldn’t understand why she wanted the job but agreed. Ava then thought about a conversation she had with Julian about needing ELQ to take over Sonny’s turf. She wondered if the day could get any worse when Silas returned.

At Sonny’s, AJ grabbed Connie’s throat and Sonny enters, gun drawn. AJ let her go, blamed Sonny for Connie running the story and yelled at Connie for not giving him a chance to get Lucy’s share. AJ then screams at her about Trey, leaving him to die as a baby then finishing him off later on. Sonny punched AJ and Connie pulled Sonny off of him as Michael and Elizabeth arrived. Elizabeth and Michael pulled AJ up, who was still yelling that Connie did this to ruin him. AJ then promised Connie that she would pay. Later, Sonny told Connie that Olivia had encouraged him check his messages. She thought it was typical that after one fight he was back in Olivia’s arms. He then accused her again of betraying his trust. He knew Morgan loved Kiki but Sonny thought it would eventually fizzle out until Connie printed the story. He added that she should have left any decisions that concerned his family to him. She then accused Sonny of hurting his sons and left.

Alexis and Sam talked about the poor turnout for donor testing at the hospital. Sam blamed Derek but Alexis understood his business decision. Alexis hadn’t read the front page story and Sam filled her in that Silas was Kiki’s dad not Franco. Later, Mac and Felicia came by to get tested. Sam was nervous they wouldn’t find a donor when Julian arrived to get tested. Meanwhile, Elizabeth consoled AJ, who was upset about not running the business side by side with Michael. He told her that this was his last chance to prove that he was worthy. Michael told him that he didn’t need ELQ for that. AJ then encouraged Michael to fight for Kiki and he left. Later, Elizabeth wants AJ to forget about Connie. He told her if he had a gun he would have killed Connie right there. Meanwhile, Michael ran into Mac, who tells him about Morgan and Kiki’s wedding.

At the courthouse Kiki and Morgan were standing in front of the judge when Michael burst in.
