Joe Francis has been sentenced to 270 days in jail and three years of probation for assault and falsely imprisoning a woman at his home in Bel-Air, Calif back in 2011. He was convicted on five charges back in May after a two-week trial.
At the time, he told E! News "I have done NOTHING wrong! This is a total joke! It did not happen and that mentally challenged jury should be put in jail!"
The 40-year-old Girls Gone Wild creator reportedly took three women back to his home after partying at Supper Club in Hollywood two years ago. When he tried to take one of the women into his home, one of her friends tried to pull her away.
Deputy City Attorney Mitchell Fox said he "jumped on the friend, took her to the ground, choked her, slammed her head against the ground, dragged her across the ground, and when she got back up, did it several more times," USA Today reports.
The girls then called 911 once they got back to their car, after he told them to leave because they were trespassing.
The five counts he was charged on are three counts of false imprisonment, one count of assault by means likely to cause great bodily injury, and one count of dissuading a witness from reporting a crime.
