Jaime King’s due date is quickly approaching. Her pregnancy was announced in May and the couple is busily getting ready for the baby’s arrival. King,34, and Kyle Newman, 37, married in November 2007 after two years of dating. The expecting parents met while working on the set of FanBoysin 2005.
Eonline reports that King is very vocal about expressing details about her pregnancy. King has joked about her pregnancy cravings, excitement of being a mom, the baby’s name. About her pregnancy experience King said, "The most amazing thing I have experienced in my life thus far is feeling my baby move. This baby is pure rock n' roll.”
King’s baby shower recently took place at her Soho House in West Hollywood. She was dressed in a colorful pink dress and spent time with her star-studded celebrity guests. Selma Blair, Jessica Alba, Jared Eng, Claudia Lee, Ashley Madekwe, Iddo Goldberg, Rachel Bilson and Wilson Bethel were at the epic space themed baby shower.
US Magazine shows of the extremely detailed Star Wars themed cake. The movie holds a special meaning to King and Newman. On the cake King and Newman are represented as the main characters, Princess Leia and Han Solo. The cake also has a baby sitting in the middle of the planet with clothespins scattered around for decoration. The cake was a major hit with King and Newman as well as the guests in attendance.
