Jamie Lee Curtis was rushed to the hospital yesterday after getting into a car accident in Venice Beach, Calif. Her good friend, Jodie Foster, rushed to the scene for support.
The Activia spokeswoman was in a black SUV as a passenger, which crashed into a BMW. The accident occurred in a highly congested area.
According to TMZ, although she was taken to the hospital in an ambulance, here injuries were minor and she’s already been released. Another person was taken to the hospital via ambulance and has more serious injuries.
The Freaky Friday star called her friend, Foster, right after the accident happened and she quickly appeared on the scene before the ambulance got there.
NY Daily News reports Foster can be seen in Elysium with Matt Damon on Aug. 9.
Curtis is married to director and writer Christopher Guest and has called getting over her addiction to alcohol and pills as “the single greatest accomplishment.”
