Jennifer Aniston is sick of the rumors that she and fiancé Justin Theroux have called off the wedding.
“Well, there was no wedding planned!” she exclaimed on CBS’ The Talk on which she appeared to promote her new film We’re the Millers.
Wedding cancellation rumors sprouted up online over a month ago, when a source alleged that the actress and her beau could not come to an agreement about which coast to live on, according to Perez Hilton. Aniston, who has long been a tabloid fixture, dispelled these rumors on the talk show, insisting that her personal life is not, in fact, fraught with scandal and is actually a lot less interesting.
“Let me just say this about that. Do you realize that the majority of all of those tag rags are loaded with absolute false information? They like to create the stories, because it’s not interesting, the story of we’re really happy and in love and feel like we’re married and eventually we’re going to get married when we find the time,” the actress said. “I don’t think there’s a rush.”
Aniston managed to brush off the rumors and make light of the public’s scrutiny of her relationship.
“I was supposed to have [the wedding] in March I think,” she said. “I’d like to be a part of this plan!”
Aniston plays a stripper in the upcoming movie, and confessed to the ladies of The Talk about her insecurities stripping down on camera.
“I did stupid things,” she said. “I layered my underwear, I had three thongs... three bras. I mean, if something’s gonna fly out at that point, three of ‘em aren’t gonna stop it,” she laughed. “It’s not easy to get naked in front of other people that you don’t want to get naked in front of, so I commend all you strippers!”
We’re the Millers is in theaters now.
