Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake just can’t get enough of each other. Earlier this year, Timberlake appeared on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon for an entire week. Now, Fallon has been picked to present Timberlake the highest honor at the MTV Video Music Awards this Sunday.
MTV announced today that Fallon has been picked to present the “Take Back The Night” singer the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award, which will recognize his career as a solo artist and with *NSYNC. The network announced last week that the 14-time VMA winner will get the award. He’s also up for six moonmen for his hit videos for “Suit & Tie” and “Mirrors.”
Timberlake and Fallon have a long relationship, since the two collaborated on two History of Rap sketches on Fallon’s show. While promoting the first half of The 20/20 Experience earlier this year, Timberlake appeared on Fallon five nights in a row and participated in hilarious sketches with the host and other guests.
The MTV VMAs are Sunday night and kick off with a performance from Lady Gaga. It’s been rumored that Timberlake will perform with the other members of *NSYNC, but nothing’s been confirmed.
