Last month, veteran actress and former Partridge Family star Shirley Jones made headlines for her detailed look at her sex life in her memoir. But Dynasty star Joan Collins has claimed that she was not involved in one sex-capade Jones describes.

TMZ reports that in Shirley Jones: A Memoir, the Oscar winning actress claims that she, Collins and their husbands almost had a four-way orgy at collins’ house in the 1960s. Jones wrote that Collins did not accept the invitation, so it didn’t happen.

But Collins claims that it never even went that far and she has successfully got the publisher to strike her name from future printings of the book. Collins sent a cease and desist letter to Simon & Schuster and Jones and the two agreed to the request. Her name is already gone from the e-book version and will not appear in future physical copies.

“We all make mistakes. I've made a few myself, but not with Mrs. Jones. I'm a serial monogamist,” Collins told TMZ.

As we previously reported, Jones’ memoir several other surprising revelations, including the “highly sexed” nature of her late husband, Jack Cassidy. The Elmer Gantry actress, 79, has been married to Marty Ingels for 35 years and continues to act.
