While at the premiere of his new film Scenic Route, Josh Duhamel talked about impending fatherhood as he walked the red carpet in Los Angeles on Tuesday night.
When asked by E! News what kind of parents he and wife Fergie will be, he said they both have a disciplinarian side to them. He admitted, they "both have a little bit of that in us!"
He also said that their little one won’t be getting away with causing trouble as he grows up, saying, “We both grew up with regular parents and regular upbringings. We didn't get away with much, and we plan to do the same with our kid."
The actor went on to say “it's been really fun to watch” his wife during her eight months of pregnancy, calling her a “champion.”
The Black Eyed Peas frontwoman took to Instagram to post a picture of herself with her husband, writing, “Rocker mommy... And some random photobomber. 😉 #scenicroute.”:
After revealing they were expecting a baby boy on Live! with Kelly and Michael last month, he has also talked a little bit about the name they chose.
He joked with Access Hollywood, “Coming from North Dakota, we were going to name it North, but you know, unfortunately, Kim and Kanye took that,” adding, “We have a name picked out, it’s fairly traditional. And we’re not telling anybody because we don’t want anybody’s opinion, including our parents!”
