Justin Bieber should probably give up driving for awhile, at least until he gets a new driver's license. The pop star was stopped in Calabasas, California on Wednesday morning since he’s not licensed to drive in the state.

TMZ reports that the “As Long as You Love Me” singer was stopped at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday near his home in Calabasas after he was seen driving past a stop sign. The 19-year-old was driving his famous white Ferrari at the time.

“I don't know how many times he's been stopped out there driving, but he has a history,” LA County Sheriff's Department spokesman Steve Whitmore told the media, notes the AFP.

Bieber did cooperate with police, but was cited for driving through the stop sign and for not having a valid driver’s license. In California, you’re supposed to get a license within 10 days of moving to the state, but Bieber, who has owned his Calabasas home since June, has yet to get one.

The singer will have to pay the DMV a visit to get his license soon, if he hasn’t already. He didn’t Tweet today and his reps haven’t issued a statement on today’s incident.
