Kate Gosselin, the mother of eight children and former star of TLC’s Jon and Kate Plus 8, is admitting to making mistakes when her family was at the height of their fame.
Now divorced from her ex Jon Gosselin, she talked to People in a cover story titled “My life after reality TV.”
"I'm living very carefully these days," she explained, adding without a cushy reality show income, she’s “piecing and patching together “money for her family with a variety of projects.
She admitted, "To not have a reliable income is scary.” She also said, “I made so many mistakes, of course.”
RadarOnline reports that Gosselin, 38, who got divorced from Jon back in 2009, which let out a whirlwind of media coverage surrounding a possible cheating scandal, says she was in “survival mode” at the time.
"It feels like a whole other lifetime ago," she said of the days of being hounded by paparazzi and being tabloid fixtures. "And sometimes I don't even remember much of it. Both when the babies were first born and during the divorce, I was on survival mode. I feel like I've lived two lifetimes already. I'm not the same person I was ... I don't even recognize her."
