Comedian Katt Williams donated $1,000 to ill and wheelchair-bound fan after a show.

According to EOnline the comedian gave $1,000 in cash to a wheelchair-bound woman following a performance after learning that she was in need of a kidney transplant. The stack of bills were wrapped up in a note Williams wrote saying, "God never leaves."

TVGuide reports that a security guard saw the woman crying in the audience Sunday night and asked if she was alright. She assured they were merely tears of joy after laughing for the first time since learning she needed surgery for a new kidney. She was then brought backstage to meet the funny man. He was so moved by her story that he left the room only to return moments later with the donation.

The woman said to TMZ the gift was an "awesome surprise." She first thought William's package was going to be full of weed, not money.

Given William's history with the police and drugs, money was the last thing she was expecting to receive from him.
