Ke$ha has embraced her inner animal, revealing she was born with a tail.
Heat exclusively reported that the Animal singer used to have a tail, a small piece of bone that stuck out of her lower back.
"I had a tail when I was born,” Ke$ha said. “It was a tiny tail, about a quarter of an inch, then they chopped it off and stole my tail. That was when I was little. I'm really sad about that story."
The 26-year-old shared the extra tidbit when discussing her MTV reality show, Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life , which lets fans see the rowdy singer on and off the stage.
"That was one of my favorite things to do,” Ke$ha said of the television show. “Because my fans really got to see the off-stage me versus the on-stage me."
Despite Ke$ha’s enthusiasm for the show, some of the singer’s televised antics have sparked controversy. Earlier in the summer the Parent Television Council spoke out against the show following an episode in which the artist drank her own urine.
"Mine isn't that bad, but I'm a very hydrated person,” Ke$ha said following the stunt. “It tasted kind of like candy."
