Maybe it's the hormones? Maybe she's just really pissed...If you're following Kim Kardashian on Instagram, you won't see a kind message to news anchor Katie Couric. This Friday, the reality TV starlett posted a picture on the social media Web site of a gift and card, which seems to be sent from the news broadcaster. The gift seems to be a white onesy for Kardashian's newborn, North West. The card read:

"Dear Kim and Kanye, Congratulations on the birth of your baby girl! As a moth..And May I humbly suggest you continue the K tradition for no...Fondly, Katie Couric."

The card which is from Barney's New York, cut off some of the message sent to the couple. Fans really can't see what Couric wanted to say, which is upsetting. But nonetheless, towards the end, she is clearly giving advice to Kim and her boyfriend, rap star Kanye West, to either change or keep the "K" trademark the reality family is known for. Whether Couric sent it in good spirits and didn't mean it in a spiteful way, Kardashian doesn't seem happy.

Under the picture, Kim hashtagged "#IHateFakeMediaFriends and #MayIHumblySuggestYouNotSendGiftsThenTalkShit." The beginning of the second hashtag is clearly a phrase taken from Couric's message.

Kim Kardashian gave birth to her first child with Kanye West a little over a month ago. They've created a lot of media buzz with their name choice, North West, and have been busy with mommy and daddy duty since the birth. Kardashian has been in hiding most of the time.

People confirmed that almost seven weeks after giving birth, the star made her first public appearance on her mom's talk show Kris. Kim talked about motherhood and said that she is loving life at home.

Star Magazine reported that her own sister, Khloe Kardashian, begged Kim to come out of hiding earlier this month. She posted a video on Keek complaining about how many photographers have been following around and camping outside of her house. Khloe asked her to come out of hiding so the paparazzi have someone else to focus their attention on. In the video she said, "Come out, come out wherever you are, Kim…"

Katie Couric has yet to comment on Kardashian's unkind instagram post aimed at her. This leaves fans wondering if this is the start of a new and interesting fued. Maybe Couric didn't mean any harm by it and Kim just took it the wrong way.
