Anger Management has replaced Selma Blair on the hit FX series with Broadway beauty Laura Bell Bundy.
Us Weekly reports that Bundy will play Dr. Jordan Denby, a "new sex-study research partner,” Lionsgate officially revealed in a press release. Dr. Denby is "a brilliant psychologist whose recent divorce, fondness for alcohol and wild mood swings turn Charlie's life into an emotional roller coaster."
Bundy will replace Blair after her highly publicized firing from the series.
Blair reportedly went to producers to complain about Sheen’s work ethic, tardiness and temper. The hot-headed actor demanded her head after hearing the news. Shortly thereafter the network released a statement regarding Blair’s firing saying, "We are confirming that Selma Blair will not be returning to Anger Management and we wish her the very best.”
At the time, Sheen hoped to hire on Black Swan actress Mila Kunis.
Us Weekly notes that Anger Management has since received a 100-episode signing from Lionsgate.
