Laura Bell Bundy has been picked to replace Selma Blair, who was fired a couple months ago, on FX’s Anger Management.
Deadline reports that Bundy is set to play Dr. Jordan Denby, Charlie’s new sex-study research partner. Unsurprisingly, her character has a fondness for booze and suffers from wild mood swings, causing Charlie’s life to turn upside down.
As previously reported, Selma Blair was fired from Anger Management after she reportedly grew annoyed with show star Charlie Sheen acting unprofessional and arriving late on set. TMZ noted that Sheen was prepared to quit the show if Blair was not let go from the show.
After Blair was fired, Anger brought back Brian Austin Green as a series regular, where he will resume his previous character who is the boyfriend of Charlie’s ex-wife, notes The Hollywood Reporter.
Bundy previously appeared on Broadway in Legally Blonde – The Musical and received a Tony nomination in 2007 for her role. She is set to begin working on the FX show later this week.
