Lea Michele was back in the recording studio for Glee on Monday, where she recorded a new song and tweeted that it was a great way to kick off the year.

She tweeted:

Work on the show was delayed until this week, while the cast and crew grieved the death of Cory Monteith, Michele’s on and off screen boyfriend.

People reports the first two episodes of the new season, which is the fifth, will be Beatles tributes but the third will deal with Monteith’s death head on.

FOX executive Kevin Reilly confirmed the show will "deal directly with the incidents involved in Cory's passing and drug abuse in particular."

Michele thanked the show’s vocal producer and recording engineer in another tweet, writing, “Thank you @alxanders & @AdamAnders for a great recording session today.. You guys are the best.”

Adam Anders wrote back "you are the strongest person I know. That was truly amazing. Love you xoxo #leastrong,” and Alex Anders wrote "You were absolutely magnificent today. I am in awe of your strength and your sweet spirit. Love you. #leastrong."
