Lee Thompson Young did not leave suicide note prior to death

The investigation into the death of Rizzoli & Isles actor Lee Thompson Young revealed that the actor did not leave a note prior to his death.

Young died Monday after a staff member from Rizzoli & Isles found the young actor lifeless with a single gunshot to his head.

Law enforcement officials tell TMZ that Young did not leave a suicide note and that the 29-year-old actor, who kept a regular diary, did not discuss any problems he was having prior to his death.

According to The Wrap , TNT has since suspended production of the series. Young played Detective Barry Frost, his life was mourned on Twitter. Following the news of his death, Rizzoli & Isles wrote, “We're devastated by the news of the passing of Lee Thompson Young. Lee will be cherished and remembered by all who knew and loved him.”
TMZ notes that the reason why Young decided to take his life remains a mystery.
