The reunion began with a live band called Zoel Harris and the Reunion Show Band, and an introduction of the ladies and gentlemen on the show. The audience booed Kirk as he was introduced (Not surprised). Rasheeda announced that she will be having a son and that she will name him Carter Frost. Executive Producer Mona Scott-Young asked Mimi if she enjoyed her breast augmentation to which Mimi responded that she did. Joseline said that it looked like someone sucked Mimi’s a** out with a straw and that she is trying to look like her. Mimi called Joseline a “disgusting trifling slut monkey” and then Joseline proceeded to take her shoes off and jump at Mimi twice. Next, Mona recapped all of the friendships that have turned sour on the show. Everyone is on good terms with one another except for Joseline and Karlie Redd.
After the commercial break, we got a recap Stevie’s three ring circus which featured Mimi and Joseline. Stevie said that he did his best to have a big happy family with Mimi and Joseline by giving both of them life partner rings (Yeah right). Mimi said that her and Stevie have not slept together since he has been with Joseline. Mimi also said that she does not have a problem with Stevie and Joseline being together and that Joseline has a problem with her. Joseline proceeded to say that the only problem that she has with Mimi is that when Mimi brings her daughter around, she is not cordial with Joseline.
Later in the reunion, Mona asked Mimi if she felt vindicated when Stevie gave her a ring after giving Joseline a ring to which Mimi replied no. Mimi told Stevie to stop disrespecting Joseline if he is going to be with her. Joseline said that Stevie does not know how to treat women because he does not have a mother (Like that’s a good excuse). Mimi said that she empathizes with Joseline. Mona asked Stevie if him and Joseline are engaged. After beating around the bush, Stevie said to stay tuned for more Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta.
Later, Mona joined with Erica, Scrappy, and both of their mothers Mignon and Momma Dee. After a recap of Erica and Scrappy’s roller-coaster relationship, Scrappy said the he felt as if Erica was playing with his emotions and that Erica meant what she said. An emotional Erica said that their focus is trying to remain friends. Scrappy admitted that there were some time that Erica was not always there for him, but he do appreciate the times that she were there. Both of them admitted that they still love each other.
The final part of the reunion featured Traci Steele and DJ Baby Drew (*Sigh*). Drew said that Traci still has feelings for him and Traci denied it. Drew said that she did still have feelings for Traci and felt jealous when she was with DeShawn. Drew and the audience agreed with Mona when she said that Traci still has feelings for Drew. (Who cares? Moving on).
At the end of the reunion, Mona recapped Kirk and Rasheeda’s tumultuous marriage which will be discussed in part two of the reunion next Monday.
See you next time for my recap of part two of the reunion!
