Brian D. Keith, the man who is accused of invading Kid Rock’s Detroit home last week, has been charged with three felonies.

The incident occurred last week while Kid Rock was not at home. After the attempted invasion, the “All Summer Long” singer posted a heavy worded letter to his blog asking fans for their help in arresting the man, later identified as 43-year-old Keith.

According to Detroit News, Keith was charged with three felonies Tuesday. Keith was charged with attempted home invasion, malicious destruction of a building and malicious destruction of personal property. If convicted on all three counts he could face up to 15 years in prison.

Clarkston District Judge Joseph Fabrizio ordered Keith to the Oakland County Jail and exclaimed, “You have four to five drunk driving convictions, several convictions for deceit or dishonesty and have failed to comply with court orders.”

He adds, "You do not have a stable residence ... I consider you a flight risk.”

Oakland County investigators estimate the damage caused by Keith to be near $20,000. He was caught after being indentified via surveillance tapes.

Keith is expected back in court on August 12.
