Singer Michael Buble and his wife, Luisana Lopilato, welcomed a son named Noah on Tuesday, Aug. 27. Lopilato, 26, gave birth to the baby in Vancouver around 2:26am.
The 37-year-old “Haven’t Met You Yet” singer posted a message to his Instagram page along with a picture of the new family of three. He wrote, “Overjoyed and filled with gratitude at the arrival of our son.”
People reports when the couple found out the sex of the baby in March, it was the same day a new pope was chosen, so Buble joked of his wife, “She said, ‘It’s a sign!’ But there is no way we are going to call him Frank, even if it did work well for Frank Sinatra.”
Back in April, Buble talked about choosing a name for their unborn child, saying on BBC’s The Graham Norton Show about Lopilato, “She was very, ‘You know what Mike, it’s nine o’clock on Tuesday night and we must do it now,’” adding, “My wife is killing me; we fight about the names. She keeps coming up with names that she thinks sound good in Spanish, like ‘Dirt.’ Dirt Bublé.”
