Miley Cyrus struts to Beastie Boys' ' No Sleep till Brooklyn' in MTV VMAs promo (Video)

Miley Cyrus appears in a new promo for the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, which will be live from Brooklyn on Aug. 25.

The video starts off with someone singing an acoustic version of her song “We Can’t Stop,” and then the singer emerges by climbing down a ladder in heels and her usual provocative attire, as the Beastie Boys’ “No Sleep till Brooklyn” plays in the background.

Idolator reports she climbs down into a subway tunnel and makes some snarl faces at the camera.

Cyrus, 20, is up for three awards at the show -- Best Pop Video, Best Female Video and Best Editing. She’s also one of the most anticipated performers of the night, MTV reports.

As we previously reported, new dad Kanye West will be performing, which will mark his seventh time performing at the event. He will tie with Madonna for the most performances.

The show will be held at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.
