Pop singer Justin Timberlake will be receiving the prestigious Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at this year's MTV Video Music Awards. Those who precede him in being honored for making memorable clips include Madonna, Britney Spears, The Beatles, and a few others. To commemorate Timberlake joining the exclusive club, here are ten of his best music videos from both his NSYNC career and current solo days.

10. "Mirrors" (2013)
Timberlake's joyful ode to finding that special one, "Mirrors," received a just as loving music video in 2013. The clip follows an elderly couple (inspired by Timberlake's own grandparents) from when they first met to their last moments together. It tracks the evolution of their love. Timberlake isn't the star of this clip, which is why he does not appear until the very end of the video. When the singer finally pops up, he shines dancing in a hall of mirrors.

9. “LoveStoned/I Think She Knows” (2007)
Timberlake messed around with graphic effects in the music video for “LoveStoned.” As his hypnotic pop track plays, he jumps around on a frequency wave length while watching the lady of his eye. The best part of the clip is when Timberlake comes to full fruition during the “I Think She Knows” interlude. Dressed to the nines in a white suit, he sings the camera a lullaby with his pensive stare.

8. “Like I Love You” (2002)
In the funky music video for “Like I Love You,” Timberlake was trying to shed his old NSYNC image. Dressed in some urban wear, he follows around the leading lady of the clip like how Michael Jackson did in “The Way You Make Me Feel.” He also busts the intense choreography to further live up to the comparison. Timberlake was definitely becoming that casanova character he is today with that first solo video.

7. “Rock Your Body” (2003)
Justin got more urban with each single release from his debut solo album, “Justified.” The flashy music video for “Rock Your Body” saw Timberlake getting down to the disco-inspired track in a room full of lights. When he wasn't beatboxing, the singer was busting out his best dance moves ever recorded on video.

6. “Gone” (2001)
While still in NSYNC, Timberlake starred in the black-and-white video for “Gone.” It showed his ups and downs with a former flame while still putting his fun personality on display. With that lady friend of his sadly out of his life, Timberlake put on a boy band worthy performance of missing her badly. The song itself is one of NSYNC's best singles.

5. “D*ck in a Box” (2006)
During what seemed like an eternity, Timberlake took a break in between his 2006 album, “FutureSex/LoveSounds,” and this year's “The 20/20 Experience.” During that down time, he did some more acting, featured on songs and became a “Saturday Night Live” staple. Among his most memorable appearances on the on the sketch comedy series is “D*ck in a Box.” He teamed up with Andy Sandberg to channel '90s R&B gone wrong. The cheesy video made the joke tune even more hilarious.

4. “Suit & Tie” (2013)
In the classy clip for “Suit & Tie,” Timberlake proved that he could still move like it was the beginning of the his career and look good rocking a dapper outfit while doing it. He took on that smooth operator persona and wore it well in this black-and-white video. The “Suit & Tie” video showed a more mature side to Timberlake that was still full of swagger.

3. “What Goes Around.../...Comes Around” (2006)
In one of Timberlake's more cinematic videos, he tells a story of love, deception and tragedy. Soundtracked by his emotional breakup ballad “What Goes Around” and starring beautiful actress Scarlett Johansson, Timberlake plays the part of crooner wronged by love in this oldtime-y clip. It is definitely one of the most memorable videos in his catalog that gets the message across loud and clear.

2. “Bye Bye Bye” (2000)
Back when Timberlake was still rocking his curly-haired afro, he and his NSYNC bandmates created one of the best boy band videos ever. In a glowing blue room, Justin performs some aggressive dance moves with the rest of the guys while also still managing to outrun a flirt from hell. Add in a choreographed crotch trust and NSYNC found themselves with one of the most quintessential videos of the early 2000s.

1. “Cry Me a River” (2002)
“Cry Me a River” is definitively Timberlake's best video ever. He pulled from his personal life to deliver an iconic clip about heartbreak and deception. What sealed the deal was his use of a Britney Spears look-a-like to add salt to the wound. Timberlake made it clear who this vengeful breakup tune was about. Instead of just spreading it across the tabloids, though, he tastefully said it all in “Cry Me a River.”

Timberlake will receive his Video Vanguard Award during the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, August 25. Did your favorite Justin video make the list? Sound off in the comments below.
