Cote de Pablo’s coworkers on the set of NCIS are saddened by her decision to not renew her contract for Season 11.

“It was not an easy decision, not one taken lightly. I feel like I am leaving my family. What I want to say most of all is thank you to the fans and to the people who have been so supportive of me and of the show, who have made the show the great success that it is," de Pablo told
Latina Magazine
.

As previously ,NCIS was so popular last year that the CBS show beat NBC’s Saturday Night Football for top spot in television ratings.

Fans of the show are understandably sad about de Pablo’s departure from the show. Ziva David was a very popular character. Her character’s storyline will end sometime this season.

Pauley Perrette and Brian Dietzen are feeling the pain, too. On the show, Perrette is a lab technician named Abby Sciuto.

"It's always hard as an actor for your co-actor to be leaving because we love her and you miss them," Perrette told Yahoo! TV . "Your character also has to deal: Abby and Jimmy, our characters, have to deal with the loss of a co-worker too."
Dietzen’s character, Jimmy Palmer, is the medical examiner’s assistant.

"I think people feel very strongly about all these things, because it is like a family," Dietzen told Yahoo! TV . "You have this paternal figure in Mark Harmon, you have this crazy aunt next to you, you have this wacky grandpa that lives downstairs with the dead bodies. And Cote's character is a part of that as well, and we're definitely going to miss her.”
