Bachelor contestant Gia Allemand died a little over a week ago from a suicide attempt and new details about what occurred a few hours before her death shed light on why she might have took her own life. Allemand had reportedly been arguing with NBA boyfriend Ryan Anderson, reported. ABC News obtained a New Orleans Police Department Report which stated she hanged herself from a spiral staircase handrail with a vacuum cord after fighting with her boyfriend. Also reported was that after dropping off Allemand at her apartment, Anderson had said he did not love her anymore after she told him she loved him.
She was found by Anderson in her apartment after Allemand's mother grew worried after being on the phone with her daughter and the line going silent, revealed. Anderson was asked to go check on her when he found Allemand and tried to unwrap the cord which was tied many times around her neck. EMTs and police officers arrived and tried to resuscitate the 29-year-old beauty who also left a note leaving all her belongings to her mother. She was put on life support when she arrived at the hospital but two days later was taken off of it, "due to a critical loss of brain and organ function..." which was released in a statement from the family on the day she passed away.
