Olivia Wilde turns 30 next year and the Tron beauty admits that the milestone isn’t making her as uneasy as some women. Wilde appeared on Good Morning America where she explained that turning another year older doesn’t change her opinion of plastic surgery, noting “too many young women” are “cutting up their faces.”
“I think the great thing about being a woman, turning 30, is that you understand that you’re not living life for your parents or your peers. You’re living life for yourself,” Wilde explained to GMA’s Lara Spencer.
In a recently article she penned for Glamour Wilde calls turning 30 the “Cut the Bullsh-t and Go Be Awesome stage.”
Perhaps being awesome is why Wilde is firm on her stance against plastic surgery.
“There are too many young women who are cutting up their faces, and it makes me sad and they all look the same,” she admits adding that she’s not saying she is “perfect.”
Wilde stars in the new comedy Drinking Buddies where she managed to rally in her fiancé Jason Sudeikis to play her boss. “He came to lunch on set and I was like ‘listen, we don’t have anyone to play my boss. Will you just jump in and improvise with me for an hour?’ He’s like, ‘yeah, great let’s go!’”
Wilde is currently filming Squirrels to the Nuts. She has a handful of films in the works including Reawakening, Relanxious and the recently announced Tron sequel.
