One Direction member Zayn Malik and Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards are officially engaged, as her mom Deborah Edwards confirms the rumors.
Entertainment Wise reports that One Direction Fans went crazy at the world premiere of the film One Direction: This is Us when 19-year-old Edwards donned a diamond ring on her left ring finger. Now, her mom confirmed on Real Radio that the couple is officially making plans to tie the knot.
"It's wonderful because Zayn is absolutely gorgeous. It's true they got engaged on Sunday and it's absolutely lovely," Edwards' mom raved. "Perrie loves him to pieces and it's perfect.”
The young lovers have only been dating a year, but Debbie is still “over the moon,” claiming that the couple is “really in love.”
According to Hollywood Life, Edwards recently gushed about her now fiancé in an interview with Twist magazine. She said,“Zayn is so lovely. You know things are good when you can’t wait to see the other person. It’s a sense of friendship.”
