Oprah Winfrey discussed her upcoming interview with Lindsay Lohan, admitting that the once troubled actress appeared to be in “the best place that I've ever seen her.”

Winfrey dished on the much-talked-about interview on Good Morning America Tuesday morning, People reports. The talk show mogul explains that she told Lohan that the best decision she could make, is to cancel her trip to Europe. "I just came from Europe, and Europe is the place to go when you want to feel really good and relax," Winfrey explained. "It's hard to go to Capri and not have a Bellini."

Lohan, at first hesitant, ultimately decided she would take the 59-year-old’s advice and cancel the upcoming trip for the sake of her health.

The first promo for the upcoming interview has been released and shows Winfrey grilling the Mean Girls actress. Lohan was recently released from her Malibu rehab center after spending 90 court ordered days inside.
Winfrey explained that Lohan’s demeanor has changed since the last time she saw her saying, "I thought that she's in the best place that I've ever seen her…I believe that she believes that she is now ready.”

“And she admitted that there were other times when she was pretending to be ready and not quite sure,” Winfrey adds. “And sometimes resentful that she was being, you know, put in a position where she had to go to rehab. I think this is the first time I could see it really benefited her.”
