Last week on America’s Next Top Model, the guys and girls of cycle 20 posed in a sexy photo shoot and then received drastic makeovers.

The models were ushered into a big penthouse where Tyra and Rob Evans came out holding hands. Tyra told the models she was going to address the rumors about her and Rob being a couple. She led them on before she revealed that her and Rob are not together. The models were disappointed (Tyra and Rob would make a cute couple), but Tyra revealed it’s the chemistry in their photo shoots that got the rumors started – chemistry that the models would be mimicking today!
To get started, Tyra and Rob revealed their three steps to chemistry, which were (1) fresh breath, (2) tension, and (3) inhales.
In their own photo shoots, the models had a chance to pose with Rob Evans as well as Victoria’s Secret model Alessandria Ambrossio, which the men were very excited about.
In the first photo, Alessandria posed as a dominatrix with Phil and Jeremy, who were on their hands and knees in dog collars. Jeremy said he was “stoked out of his mind” to be posing with Alessandria, while Phil admitted he didn’t feel comfortable with the shoot.
Marvin and Chlea posed on a bed together, with Alessandria standing over them, where things were getting heated up.
“It’s getting too real for me,” Marvin said. “How many people have a supermodel and a very nice girl next to them in a bed? And I’m just stuck there shirtless with silk pants on. I have high hormones and I can’t focus!”
Several of the other models also posed on beds, while other sets included in an elevator and on a kitchen counter.
After the risqué photo shoot came the moment the models had all been waiting for – makeover day! The guys were unsure how they would be made over, since they had short hair, but Tyra and the stylists sure proved them wrong.
At the Christophe salon, there were both smiles and tears (from the girls and guys!) at their new looks. Cory had his head completely shaved, which he did not like at all. Nina had her naturally blonde hair dyed red, and Jourdan had her brown hair dyed blonde. Jourdan fretted that she looked too much like a Barbie and people would make dumb blonde jokes about her. Kanani got her long locks chopped into a pixie cut (which was Kelly Cutrone’s favorite makeover of the day). Phil was the only dude to get extensions in his hair! He commented that it felt like a Jesus/ surfer/ Tarzan cross.
To top it all off, the guys were professionally ‘manscaped.’ The men winced, and many yelped, as their hair was ripped away with hot wax. The girls just laughed.
Mike commented, “I look like a little boy with no hair on my legs.”
Finally, it was time for panel. With no challenge this week, the models’ social media scores played an even bigger role than usual. That along with their sexy photos determined who stayed and who had to pack their bags.
The best photo this week went to Mike for his smoldering stare as he posed bed top. Jiana earned runner up. Marvin, who won best photo last week, was all the way at spot number 9. The bottom two ended up being Don and Chlea. Unfortunately, Chlea had the lowest score so she was now out of the running. Tyra told Chlea that her photo this week was just not good enough, and the judges questioned her passion for the industry and her desire to be in the competition.
