Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge are reportedly considering releasing personal photographs of their newborn son, Prince George. The Prince and Duchess plan to take a turn from traditional professional photographs and release personal pictures they have taken on their own over the last few weeks.
The U.K.’s Mirror reports that Kate and William are considering releasing their own personal photographs of the Prince rather than having a professional take the pictures.
A royal aide explains, “One of the options they are looking at is releasing a couple of family photos they have taken themselves.”
One of the reasons Kate hopes to release the personal photos is so George’s daily routine is not disturbed. “Kate has a great eye for pictures and wants the first official ones of George to be natural and in a relaxed environment.” The photos are said to be released via Twitter, another turn from the traditional. The pictures could be up on Kensington Palace’s official Twitter as early as next week.
The photos will be published on the royal couple’s official website as well as on Twitter.
The world got their first look at the royal baby just 24 hours after his birth.
