Did you send the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge a note or a gift when Prince George was born? A thank-you note from the royal couple is on its way to you!

People Magazine reports Prince William and Kate Middleton have begun to mail thank-you notes to all those who sent them notes or gifts to mark the occasion of the birth of their son, His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge. The new prince was born on July 22.

According to US Magazine, the front of the card reads, "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were most touched that you took the trouble to write as you did on the occasion of the birth of their son Prince George." The back of the card reads, "Their Royal Highnesses have been overwhelmed by all the wonderful messages and gifts they have received and send you their warmest thanks and best wishes."

The image on the front of the card was taken by the royal couple's own photographer when they exited the Lindo Wing of St. Mary's Hospital after the birth. The photo shows Middleton wearing the famous light blue, polka-dotted Jenny Packham dress that she wore for the occasion. In the photo, Middleton is seen holding the baby while Prince William stands beside her.

You may not receive the note immediately, however. Kensington Palace says that they are working through a backlog of gifts and sending out thank-you notes as they go along. When the Duke and Duchess announced they were expecting a baby, they were flooded by well wishes at that time too. In response, they sent thank-you notes featuring Kate Middleton in another Jenny Packham dress.
