Grammy Award winning country singer Randy Travis is out of the hospital after suffering from cardiomyopathy, a severe heart condition. Travis is now headed to physical therapy where he will finish out his recovery before going home.

TMZ reports that Travis left Baylor Heart Hospital in Texas, Tuesday and headed to physical therapy after suffering the severe heart condition earlier this month. At the time, Travis was noted as in critical condition, leaving his friends, family and fans to hope and pray for his recovery. Fans even began trending #PrayForRandy on Twitter.

As we previously reported, Travis’ health went south after suffering a stroke mid-recovery. The “Forever and Ever, Amen” was forced to undergo emergency surgery to “relieve pressure from his brain.”
Since his release, his publicist Kirt Webster released an email from fiancé Mary Davis according to saying, “Thanks to all the fans and friends for your continued prayers and support as Randy continues on the road to recovery.”

TMZ notes it is unclear how long Travis will have to do physical therapy.
