Am I the only one who didn’t know that the Backstreet Boys were back together? I got so excited when Nick Cannon announced that they would be performing on tomorrow’s results show, because I thought it was this huge reunion type thing, because they hadn’t performed together in a while. But apparently they’ve released another album? I feel so out of the loop! But anyways, on to tonight’s episode. The acts ranged from really good to really terrible tonight, and we even got an X from Howie on one of the ridiculous acts that I’m sure he was instrumental in getting through to the live shows. Sorry, Tummy Talk, but you are yet another one of Howie’s flops. There were some acts who really impressed though, and they made up for the few bad ones. Read through the list to see what I thought of tonight’s acts. Don’t agree with what I said? Talk about it in the comments below!

12. Tummy Talk

This is not a million dollar act. This is a terrible, wannabe Blue Man Group, who could have done something really cool and didn’t. This is a group that Howie buzzed. Howie!! It’s terrible that they even made it this far, and I would be very surprised if they made it any farther.

11. Champions Forever

It’s Cheaper by the Dozen with unicycles! It was cool, but I got bored during it. It seemed like they were focusing more on being a family and including everyone (which is great) than on actually putting on a good show (which is what America’s Got Talent is for).

10. SensEtion

Was the guy on the right broken for the beginning of the dance or was he not supposed to be lit up? It looked like it was a mistake to me. But those kinds of things happen with technology, and the rest of their performance was very solid. I didn’t get some of the imagery that they were trying to show with the boxes and the eyes and the dog and the flag, but I still liked it.

9. Chloe Channell

I feel like Howard was a bit mean to her, considering that she is 11 years old performing in front of millions of people on live television and of course she was nervous! But anyways, I thought she did very well, and her voice is really amazing, for any age.

8. Cami Bradley

What was up with all the pointy things all over the stage? That was just weird. But anyways, another singer, very pretty voice, I got bored.

7. Jimmy Rose

I’m can pretty much guarantee that he will go through to the next round, and I can also guarantee that I will not be happy about it. I do not think that singers belong on this show, considering that they can go on every other show on television and shouldn’t take spots from more original acts. I thought he was a typical singer with a nice voice, but he wasn’t anything special, and there are more deserving acts. Also, I liked how the audience cheered when the judges were complaining about how America let Marty Brown through. Not sure if it was because they liked Marty Brown or because they agree America made a mistake, but I hope it was the latter.

6. The Robotix

I feel like I’ve never seen these guys perform before, but I guess I must have. I thought they were really good, and I love that they’re little kids who are so into classic rock.

5. David Ferman

That felt very quick… there was a lot of build-up, and it made me very nervous and tense, but I was expecting much more out of him. His other acts felt more dangerous. I don’t agree with Howard about the showmanship, though. I actually think David has very good showmanship, especially compared to some of the other people who are on this show (hello, Sprice? We’ll see how he does next week).

4. 3 Penny Chorus and Orchestra

I liked their audition a bit better, but I thought they did very well. They definitely are a twist on classical music, and they’re different from what you usually see on talent shows, which I really like.

3. Aerial Ice

I had high hopes for these guys, especially as someone who has always been a big ice skating fan. I thought that they could have done better, considering that half the time they weren’t even synchronized with each other, but the act was beautiful and very impressive.

2. Taylor Williamson

This guy has been tweeting hilarious things (his Twitter handle is @TaylorComedy) during all of the live shows so far, so I had high hopes for him. I liked his act, I liked his jokes, and I like his awkward persona.

1. Timber Brown

I got very dizzy watching him, and I actually think one of the most impressive things about his act was the fact that he was able to walk straight afterwards. Of course, there were quite a few other impressive things as well…
