Okay, so this week I’ve decided to do something different—instead of just ranking the top five acts from last night’s live show of America’s Got Talent, I’m going to rank all twelve acts in order of how well I thought they did! After being surprised by last week’s results (Alexandr Magala doesn’t make it through and Marty Brown does??), I was a bit apprehensive about tonight’s show. It’s terrible getting my hopes up for an act, thinking they’ll make it through, and then having them be sent home. Oh well, there’s always the Wildcards. Onto tonight’s show though—I thought tonight’s acts were much better than last weeks, and I had a lot of trouble putting this list together. I feel like there are quite a few acts that will go home this week that might have made it through had they had other competition. Read on to see what I thought about all twelve of last night’s acts. Don’t agree with me? Talk about it in the comments below!

12. David “The Cobra Kid” Weathers

Does anyone else feel like he could be using just random, not poisonous snakes, and we, as viewers, would never know? It’s not like any of us are snake experts, and it would be much safer for him that way. Still, even though whether or not that snake is actually deadly is questionable, the act was suspenseful and dangerous, and it clearly had the audience on their toes.

11. Kelsey and Bailey

Okay, that is probably one of the cutest dogs I’ve ever seen, and I will admit that I cried a bit watching this because of how adorable it was. But, sadly, these two do not deserve to be here, especially after seeing Olate Dogs last season. As sad as I am to say this, I don’t want to see these two make it through, even though I do want to take Bailey home with me.

10. American Military Spouses Choir

I ranked them so low on this list simply because I thought they could do better, and I think they have done better. I had high hopes for them as a choir, but I don’t think that they did their best tonight.

9. Deanna DellaCioppa

She sounded beautiful, but I was bored. I have a feeling that America wasn’t, and Deanna has a good chance to go through, but she just didn’t do it for me.

8. Aerosphere Aerial Balloon Show

When they glossed over this act while editing the audition episodes, I was extremely upset. This act was one of the ones that are inserted without a name, and without anything more than 30 seconds of screen time. I wanted to see more, and now we finally got to. I certainly wasn’t disappointed. I definitely thought they could have done more, though, because just the one trick couldn’t really sell me on their act.

7. Jim Meskimen

With impressionists, it really is all about the material, and I’m not sure that Jim has great material tonight. He doesn’t really seem like much of an improviser— he had solid bits with Woody Allen, Robin Williams, and Dr. Phil, but the rest of them fell a bit flat. Still, it was impressive that he made up his material on the spot and was able to come up with some of the things he did, and I think that his experience definitely paid off in helping him control his nerves.

6. Illusionist Leon Etionne and Romy Low

This did not start out well, but that ending… I was nervous when they decided to show people the beginning of their trick, but it ended up working in their favor, because it made the ending that much more exciting.

5. Jonathan Allen

He has a beautiful voice, and I am sure there are a lot of people who would pay to go see him. I, however, am not one of those people. I was bored during his act, there wasn’t much to look at, and the music was just not my style. Still, I feel like people will vote for him, and he certainly has the talent to make it through.

4. Brandon and Savannah

I was a bit disappointed that they didn’t do an original song, especially after I liked the last one so much at their audition. I felt that while they definitely made this song their own, it probably wasn’t the best for their voices, and I thought that this performance wasn’t on par with their last. I still enjoyed it, and I would like to see them move on. Also, does anyone feel like they need a better band name? Brandon and Savannah just seems so boring, I’d like to see them come up with something more fun.

3. Mitsi Dancing School

For me, this is a group of underdogs who I really, really want to see go through to the next round. They had a beautiful routine, with some of the most precision I’ve ever seen from a dance group on this show. Still, their routine was strange, and I’m not sure it’ll appeal to enough people to make it through. They certainly have my vote, but we’ll see if they have everyone else’s.

2. Chicago Boyz

I feel like they had just a little bit too much energy, and not quite enough practice. It seemed like some things were a bit out of sync and frantic, but I still really liked it. If they could make their act just a little more polished (which I’m sure they could with more practice), it would be a perfect family show.

1. Kenichi Ebina

I thought his act was extremely original, precise, and entertaining. His dancing was wonderful, and the effects were great. It was much more than what I expected from him, and I absolutely loved it. I hope the rest of America realizes how amazing what he did is.
