Teresa and Joe Giudice of The Real Housewives of New Jersey plead not guilty to various criminal charges.
Yahoo reported that Teresa and Joe Giudice made a court appearance in New Jersey and declared their innocence to federal fraud charges. Miles Feinstein, Joe Giudice's lawyer said, "They vehemently deny their guilt."
TheCelebrityCafe.com reported on July 29 that the couple was indicted on 39 counts of allegedly defrauding the IRS, including tax evasion and conspiring to illegally get mortgages and other loans from numerous banks. The Giudice's could serve more than 50 years in prison if convicted.
Despite facing personal turmoil, Teresa Giudice and her husband are staying positive and going about their lives. WonderWall.MSN.com reports that Teresa won't stop working in order to be a role model for her daughters. "It's a good example to show to my daughters -- that Mommy's a business woman and hopefully they'll follow in my footsteps."
The Giudice's next hearing is set for Oct. 3 and their trial will be Oct. 8.
