Rihanna attended the MTV Video Music Awards last night, where she was nominated for Best Female Video, but she skipped the red carpet portion of the night and opted for a very laid back look while inside.
She lost to Taylor Swift but that didn’t keep her from hitting up the after parties and even changing into something a little more dressed up.
The “Stay” singer, 25, wore Rihanna for River Island jeans, a vintage MC Lyte T-shirt and Monolo Blahnik shoes, Just Jared reports. She took to Twitter after the show to let her fans know where she was headed:

She changed into a black, long-sleeved mini dress for the after party, Entertainmentwise reports. While there, she partied with Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce, who did not attend the award show.
While sitting in the crowd at the show, however, Hollywoodlife notes she didn’t look impressed with former flame Drake’s performance of his songs “Hold On, We’re Going Home” and “Started From the Bottom.”
