Robert Pattinson had some salty comments about the habits of the Twilight franchise's most devoted fans.
The Huffington Post reports that in an interview, Pattinson said, "Twilight has its own parallel world, its own fan culture that has been forming on the net since day one. And in an intense way that has never existed before. Sometimes I ask myself what these masses of people do the whole day. They sit in front of their computers and comment on anything having even remotely to do with Twilight."
Pattinson also mentioned that despite the perception of the film franchise's fans being teenagers, many fans are beyond that age. The actor, who played Edward Cullen, is also not a fan of the series of novels. Though he acted in the films for five years and even dated co-star Kristen Stewart, Pattinson has criticized quality of the books. Pattinson previously said, "When I read it, it seemed like it was a book that wasn't supposed to be published," taking a shot at Stephanie Meyers, the author.
The actor, 27, is now focusing on his music career according to HollywoodLife. Apparently, a source close to Pattinson speculates that he may have a number one hit to release before long. Pattinson is motivated by the fact that he does not want to be defined by his involvement in the Twilight franchise or his relationship with Stewart.
