Ron Burgundy is planning to share all things classy in his newly announced memoir, Let Me Off at the Top!: My Classy Life and Other Musings.
Entertainment Weekly reports that the famous Anchorman frontman will discuss all things Burgundy, including never-before-told secrets from his early years as well as stories of his time as a journalist and his many, many women.
Burgundy released a statement following the announcement of the memoir saying, “I don’t know if it’s the greatest autobiography ever written. I’m too close to the work…I will tell you this much: the first time I sat down and read this thing…I cried like a goddamn baby, and you can take that to the bank!”
Created by both Adam McKay and Will Ferrell, who plays Burgundy, the film became an instant hit in 2004 following the Channel 4 news team. Costarring Paul Rudd, Steve Carell, David Koechner and Christina Applegate, the hilarious film continues to be quoted among Anchorman fans.
Its sequel, Anchorman: The Legend Continues, will see the return of Rudd, Carell, Koechner, Applegate and of course, Burgundy. The news team will also see the addition of Kristen Wiig and Harrison Ford.
Let Me Off at the Top!: My Classy Life and Other Musings hits the shelves November19, one month before The Legend Continues hits theaters.
