Selena Gomez was recently spotted flirting with Union J member George Shelley, but it’s mainly “a way to make Justin jealous.”
MTV UK reports that the “Come and Get It” singer is still not over Bieber. A source told Hollywoodlife that “Selena is still not over Justin, not even close.”
The 21-year-old singer was seen cozying up to Shelley, but it was “a way to make Justin jealous but now it’s taken on a life of it’s [sic] own,” the source added. They hope that when Gomez travels to Europe sometime soon to meet up with Shelley that it helps take her mind off of Bieber.
Maybe traveling to Europe will help her recharge from the Hollywood life as she recently talked to New York Daily News over how tiring it gets.
The singer said, “It does get to me. I’m a human and I feel those emotions of when people talk about you.” She continued, “It’s never a good feeling cause half the time it’s bull, it’s not real.”
She talked about how everything she does gets blown out of proportion because of her celebrity. “In the real world I’ll drive my car to the grocery store and buy myself food. In the media world it’s like, ‘Oohh, I drive my car to go somewhere secretive.’”
Though she may still be pining for Bieber, she has her film career to take her mind off him as she’s promoting her new film Getaway with Ethan Hawke. Getaway opens in theaters Friday.
