Rumors are starting to circulate that Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel are dating after they were seen having dinner at East Hampton restaurant Nick and Toni’s.
The duo are co-stars in Bad Teacher, also starring Diaz’s ex Justin Timberlake, and they’re working together again on the upcoming Sex Tape.
A source told Life & Style they “seemed to be on a date.”
Diaz has been in the Hamptons all summer shooting her film The Other Woman with Leslie Mann, Kate Upton and Taylor Kinney.
Someone who saw them at local market Citarella also wrote on Instagram, “They bought groceries and then drove off together.”
However, sources told E! News that their date wasn’t romantic, instead it was just “casual and friendly.” They also weren’t alone, there was another man with them at the restaurant.
“Jason and Cameron were not romantic at all towards each other,” said an onlooker.
Segel most recently dated Michelle Williams. He’s lost some weight for his new role, telling Us Weekly, “I've just been living healthy, exercising, eating right—no more midnight pizzas.”
