Simon Cowell wants a break from all the drama surrounding his baby mama, Lauren Silverman!
The former American Idol judge is reportedly happy to be on vacation and away from the conflict between Lauren, 36, and her current husband, Andrew. Cowell was recently seen boarding a yacht in the South of France. People Magazine reports that although Cowell has been in touch with Lauren, he refuses to see her in person until things settle down.
An inside source told People, "He cares about her and has been checking in on her and the baby. He still encourages Lauren to quickly figure things out with Andrew so they can move forward with their divorce." Metro reports that Cowell speaks to her multiple times a day even while he's been on vacation. "They're totally in love," a source told Metro. Cowell is said to be excited about the baby and eagerly awaiting the results of amniocentesis so that the gender can be confirmed.
However, Cowell reportedly has no plans to marry Lauren or move in with her. Although she reportedly does want to get married to him, Cowell has told her that he is not ready for that level of commitment. This doesn't mean that she and the child won't be in his life, though. Because he owns several properties in the Los Angeles area, he can accommodate Lauren in one of them. That way, he can spend time with his baby while he is working in LA.
